2011 CrossFit Games Sectionals at CFSBK this Saturday!

The 2011 CF Games Open Sectionals begin this week and we'll be hosting the first two workouts at CFSBK!  Full details are here.

If you're planning on competing registration closes midnight on the Thursday before each event. And competitors must register both via the Event Brite link AND the register on the CF Games site

We are still in need of volunteers!  If you've got a Level 1 Cert and are not competing we'd love to have you as a volunteer judge.  You can register here and contact David(AT)Crossfitsouthbrooklyn.com if you have any questions.

The CrossFit Open Sectionals start in just 9 days!  If you're interested in competing, please register both on the eventbrite page and at the CrossFit Games website. All the registraion information and links can be found here. If you've got your leve 1 certification, we'd love to see you sign up as a judge for as few or many of the events as you can make. Also, don't forget to "fan" the event on the facebook machine here!  Our athlete pool is larger and more advanced than ever before, we can't wait to see how team SBK does!

From this Saturday(3/12) until next Thursday(3/17) we're set for a "Crush Week".  The WODS will be hard and follow more "constantly varied" approach.  The folling Saturday(3/19) through Thursday(3/24) will be a back off week and then we'll pick back up into our next strength cycle.

Paleo Potluck/Anniversary Party

It's here!  Tonight at 6pm we're throwing the biggest, bestest, Paleoist party of the year in honor of the Paleo Challenge and to celebrate our first year at Degraw St.  Bring meat, bring veggies, bring friends and family (Kids and Pets too!)  Heck, even if you didn't participate in the Challenge or come empty-handed we'll be more than happy to have you in house. 

We'll be announcing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male/Female finishers in the Paleo Challenge as well as a few other exciting surprises.  Festivities start at 6pm and go til we have to bail David out of jail again.
