There is a 30 minute time cap on today’s workout. Choose scaling options that allow you to complete your first round in under 14 minutes. If you arrive at that time and are not halfway through the work, scale further from your original choices!
This one is a bit of a mental doozy. Commit yourself to your effort and don’t allow your mind to drag you to a negative place on those burpees. Find a rhythm and keep grooving.
The barbell weight will obviously feel different for each of these movements — the overhead squat will likely be the limiting factor for a lot of us. Choose a weight that allows your movements to be completed either unbroken or in 2-3 quick sets. The Power Snatches are the exception here: if you’re not practiced at cycling these, then quick singles is a fine choice. No matter what: practice smart sets from the get go so you don’t get stuck taking extended rests and staring at the floor.
