Farewell (for now) to Coach Nick!
Coach Nick and his family are moving to Montana for a year! Nick has been a CFSBK coach since November of 2008. The tentative plan is for the Petersons to move back to Brooklyn after a year. Nick has been a staple at the gym and seen every iteration and evolution of the gym from the Lyceum days to today. Many members have incredible memories of coach Nicks dutiful coaching and sadistic CRASH-B programming, one of our annual and most memorable programs. We’ll miss you, Nick!

Good luck in Montana Nick!
That’s wonderful, Nick! Thank you for ensuring that I got to do CRASH-Bs in person just before everything fell apart. Not sure if “dream” is the right word to describe training, but that’s what it feels like now that I don’t get to go to the gym 6 days a week.
Wishing you, Charlotte, and Linus an incredible summer, and adventurous year ahead.
Also, David, why is CFSBK Phase 4, not Phase 2?
I thought all gyms were phase 4, at least in New York? I do think our ability to open the gate makes SBK a lot safer than, say, Crunch.
Yup, it is Phase 4. Don’t know why I had read Phase 2 a couple times!
