Since I’m missing squats on Thursday and can’t snatch right now, I went to OG today. LBBS 1×3 at 130#; 2×3 135#; 1×3 at 140, which is a 3 rep pr. I was trying to correct last week’s shallow reps and got these all good and down! Robert was kind enough to judge me. Then I played with 24# box jumps, from there grabbed the rings for a neutral grip pull up, 2 sec hold at the top and lowering as slowly as possible, then some Ts and Ys with 2.5#, then 100 sit ups for time: 3:06 which tops March’s 3:36!
Yesterday was a good 4×3 deadlift at 185#. I rounded my back on the 3rd set. I switch gripped that set. Does that happen to anyone else? That’s also a best 3 rep weight.
Sunday I did Omar without thrusters and without burpees, which Kim said is like doing Grace without cleans and jerks! Well, ok but I did sweat and breath hard for 10 and a half minutes! It was sort of weird to do hip thrusters parallel to the bar and then turn to face the bar for the jump but once I got my arms into it there were better results.
