Partner “DT on the Run”
For Time:
400m Run
120 Deadlifts 155/105
400m Run
90 Hang Power Cleans 155/105
400m Run
60 Push Jerks 155/105
400m Run
Partners complete the runs together and break up the barbell however desired. Use one barbell for the whole workout. The loading on this running partner riff on the classic CrossFit benchmark “DT” should be a challenging for the total amount of work, but the Push Jerks will likely be the limiter and this the best guide for scaling. You should be able to handle sets of 9-15 Deadlifts, 4-8 Hang Power Cleans, and 3-6 Push Jerks
There is a 30 minute cap on this workout.

Just signed up for FGB and so excited! Best day of the year at the gym.
One thought- is there an opportunity to pass on getting another T-shirt and have the money that would have paid for it go directly towards the cause? I already have a ton of crossfit shirts and was hoping my money could be better spent on the fundraising!
Plus I’m really hoping to be on a team that dresses up anyway 😉

I second this idea.
Also, omg. That photo. Who is dressed as Orko? Because I remember Jess’s and Brett’s costumes from that year (obvi), but I didn’t know that team had an Orko and that person has my undying admiration.

Partner WOD with Bea in 27:41
Did it at 85#
Shortened the range of motion on the deadlifts by doing them off of two plastics blocks. Did them in sets of10s. Worried my back would cramp up if we did larger sets since I haven’t deadlifted in so long. Took them slow and steady. Felt fine during and so far lower back still feels good!
HPCs: Better than expected! in sets of 5.
PJ: sets of 5. Bea subbed 10 situps for every 5 jerks I did so we did 90 total reps for this. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up with her if she only did 5 situps.
All runs were painfully slow for me.
Took two rest days and feeling kinda sluggish overall. Sad to miss Thursday’s workout which looked fun and also Brett’s event last night. Hoping I didn’t overextend myself today!
