We’ll be showing the World Cup quarterfinals match between Russia and Croatia today at 2pm on our big, big screen (it’s a giant screen) at 597! Today and the rest of the dates listed below are bring-your-own beverages, food, and friends.
Semifinals: Tuesday, July 10th and Wednesday, July 11th at 2pm
Finals: Sunday, July 15th at 11am (during group classes)

Short Circuit was really fun today! After a week and a half with no cardio at all, it was good to get back in with a little light conditioning.
Also very nice to get back to AR even though I suck at straddles.

Are we having a mid-cycle crush week and no one told me?!?! Seriously, that workout was messed up – and I did it today when it was cool, can’t imagine it yesterday… Did a light Short Circuit at 9am, then some great Yoga at 10am, then…

Paced the first round a lot, didn’t help – got slower and slower. First round in 10:30min, second in 11:30min, third in 14min with a ton of long breaks and 4+ sets for the thrusters and pull-ups.
Lots of people looking at us with sad puppy eyes today – be nice to your Brazilians for the next few weeks 😉 special shout-out to a particular Belgium fan who had the opportunity to give me shit today, but refrained from it. You know who you are, and you’re a gentleman sir.

Oof. I got 16 thrusters (35# bar – all the bands on pull-ups) in round 3 when time was called.
Can’t think of a better way to mark 4 years at CFSBK than being encouraged and coached to the bitter end of a killer WOD.
