8am Short Circuit with Chris
Still feeling StrongFit + Short circuit from yesterday. All my movements were on the slow side. The burpees + hollow holds were the hardest part for me.
9am Group Class with Jess and Chris
Worked up to 150 on the Front Squat + Split Jerk. Great feedback from both Jess and Chris about my shoulder and hand positions when doing the jerk portion. Personally, I actually found this a bit easier since my usual limiter is my split jerk landing. This gave me a chance to work on it at higher weights and less complexity.

Oh AG, how I have missed you!
Things went really well for me today. REALLY well. I got my first pistols on the left side, kipping pull-ups were pretty smooth, and I ditched the third abmat for HSPUs! Ro did put a 5# plate under the 2 abmats because I wasn’t *quite* getting all the way down, but still. Progress!
when a day is going this well, it’s time to buy a Mega Millions ticket, amirite?

1pm: worked up to 120 (an actual 120) for the the jerk complex.
Annie: sore from tabata sit-ups yesterday. We tested these at AG strength yesterday. Also tripped up quite a bit on DUs. Slower than my PR. 7:29 today
Feel pretty good about AG:
Emom: 10 pistols, 5 strict c2b
Wod: 16:55 5 HSPUs, 10 kb swings, 130m run 10 rounds
Actually felt like I ran a 5k. Amazing! Started smooth and go faster. Really fun to go for a long time at a sustainable pace then realize you actually are super tired at the end! Starts easy, ends hard, kept it consistent. #nailedit

Worked up to 123 on the complex. Failed 128. Got the bar high enough but didn’t drop under it.

Double unders had been improving until my rope broke. Bought the same type of handles and cut a new wire the exact same length but now can’t do them with the new rope. Sigh. Did half double unders today with the exception of the first round where I did 31. First time doing Annie.
