Saturday Alternative Programming
We are hosting Mark Rippetoe’s Starting Strength Seminar again and all normal in-house group classes are cancelled. As an alternative, we’re offering off-location workouts. Below are the programming options available for today. If you are not already signed up, please check the availability of each class HERE.
Your group class membership will apply for any of these classes, including yoga.

Prospect Park WOD
Meet Coach MeLo on Long Meadow Field as you enter from Garfield Place. Look for orange cones. WOD will include handstand practice and sprinting. Bring your own stopwatch to keep track of interval times as well as a water bottle. Email Melissa [at] CrossfitSouthBrooklyn.com if you have any questions.

Fun 10:30 class with MeLo and co! Thanks for arranging alternate programming today. I planned on taking it pretty easy but FAILED. Pavlovian timer beep / running response cannot be so easily deprogrammed.

9am in the park with MeLo. Today's workout was a lot of fun. I was surprised that sprinting uphill was so enjoyable, but it was. I think the nice weather, blooming magnolia trees, and general good vibes in the park (random gnarly dog melee notwithstanding) helped.

Many thanks to Coach MeLo for the awesome Prospect Park workout. It was so much fun to get outside and I'm so happy with my handstand attempts! Another milestone for me, thank you MeLo!
I just got a late afternoon invitation to the country so I have to take my name off the sign-up for tomorrow's 12:00 with Coach Arturo. I'm bummed to miss Arturo's outdoor class but I couldn't turn down the opportunity to get out of the city & hang with my sister and her family.
Just wanted to advise that my spot has opened up.

I recently purchased a new sofa for upstairs office and need to get rid of the one we've currently got up there. It's an Ikea sofa (discontinued model I believe) with a removable and washable cover. It's in good condition.

If anyone wants it they can come check it out and take it home, first come first serve. Whoever wants it will be responsible for removing and transporting it. It's quite light though and two people can easily take care of it.
