11am with kettlebell kings Josh and McD. I appreciated today's focus on form since I always work way too hard to swing the bell. I used the 32kg for the first three rounds, then McDowell goaded me into using the big cat for the last two. I tried to do the tempo version of the ring rows but that only lasted two rounds. Plain old rows were AHAN for the last three rounds.

Snatch – Worked to 70kg for a heavy single. Missed the first attempt at it and really power snatched the one I made.
C&J – worked up to 100kg for a heavy single. Shoulder not feeling awesome since Ho-broken. Need to spend more TLC AR time on it.
FSQ – 83kgx1x5 every :30, 88kgx1x5 every :30, 94kgx1x5 every :30. 1 minute rest between sets
"Helen" – was dreading this, and I used to look forward to Helen. Went "Russian Plus" to save the shoulder some trouble. Still sucked wind. 12:20

did about 40 minutes of pre-workout shoulder mobility work. The pain then def. helped during the workout. I didn't have any shoulder discomfort and kept my form on lock. Thanks David for the pointers.
Now I am starting to already feel the workout in my scapulars and upper back. will have to hit the foam-roller hard tomorrow morning.

Also, Kate B looks pissed on that photo.
Why does no one post on the days that start with "S"?

Worked out today but it was bogus. I was feeling really tired after A/R and thought I'd would work some clean and jerk technique since I was running on empty. Worked up to 198 which I failed a few times at and then dropped back and failed some more so I called it. Couldn't get tight under the bar, could get my shit together and focus on what I was doing.
Afterwards we had another backflip class and landed 1-2 backflips without a spot which was really cool. Definitely don't "own" the movement yet. In time…
Didn't make it out to HB2TR tonight, came home and fell asleep hard then stayed in. Hope folks had fun
