REALLY good food last night peoples!
Alex T: I hate to admit it, but your pulled pork was better than mine. Can you send me your recipe?
Unfortunately I finally caved to the cold that's been going around my office… No gym for me today.

I would like to thank Nick, Betz (sp?) and Shawn SPHFSFHNFSKLNFOFNSOINF (whatever his last name is) for sticking around and helping me.
Not Fun.

I think I left a couple folks hanging on high fives by accident, I seriously apologize, I just couldn't seem to breath. I don't think I was physically tired, just sucking wind, sorry guys.

Did 12.3 today, fueled by tequila fumes from last night. Kept the pace medium-slow and steady, had a plan for 7 rounds and fell a bit short, got 231 points. A little too much resting, the 24" box makes a very confy chair when you are mid-WOD. When Mike Green told me afterwards that every time he looked over I was sitting on the box I figured I could have probably pushed it a bit more. Push presses felt pretty good, T2B were not as smooth as I would have liked.
Thanks KMo for judging and quietly keeping me going.

We NEED the recipe for those banana Paleo brownies. Please!

Just did 12.3. Holy mother of GOD that was tough. At Linus' last checkup his pediatrician got him to agree to let her listen to his heart by saying there were rabbits in his chest; well, I had about 12 rabbits in there, and they were completely cracked out. I was terrified of the T2B, but they ended being fine till round 3 or 4, when my torso got all tingly from the effort and I just had a hard time moving. Ended up with 236 and am pretty happy.
Great food and company last night!
Nick Peterson says
Thanks to English Dave for counting and quietly pushing me. Perfect! And thanks to Carlos, Joe, Luca, and Ben for cheering me on and putting my toys away when I was done and completely useless.

Lost my driver's license and insurance card this morning. Anyone happen to find them at the gym? I hope…….
Today's WOD was plenty fun, psyched that everyone at 9am seemed to get similar reps (mostly 8, a couple 7s and 9s).
Potluck was great too, thanks to everyone for sharing their cooking skills.

Thanks to Fox for letting me do 12.3 today. Scored a disappointing 232, which is a bit short of what I was expecting. Thanks for Shawn for staying to judge and cheer – it probably would have been an even more disappointing performance without him keeping me on task. Looking forward to some shorter workouts for the rest of the open, nahmean?
