I appreciate the fact that team Blood Sweat & Beers managed to actually have beers in their hands by the time their photo was taken.

Joe! Great point. Hahaha.
Hey guys, a friend of mine rows these things called "Dragon Races" in Ithaca. Its a double-wide canoe with like 20 paddlers. I think we need to get in on this action.

For the last time, I AM NOT A DOG! 😉
Jeremy looks like he could hang out in that Paleo squat all day. Me, not so much.

Jen's dog's name is Dolce. He excels at FGB box jumps as RX'd.

This year's team photos have definitely pushed the envelope. Who knows what will happen next year. Citius, altius, fortius and all that.

My husband is a badass – reason 1: FGB portraits are pretty fabulous. 2. I'm eating chicken with peanut sauce and coconut-cauliflower rice with a veggie thai curry that he made last night with FRESH coconut. so DELICIOUS.
At work w/ no time, low sleep and high stress, workout special.
3 rounds warm-up 1 with 10 push-ups and 5 strict pull-ups. When will hollow rocks feel like cake?
50 burpees for time: just under three minutes, analog clocks make exactness difficult. Lots of funny looks from the elliptical and treadmill set.

came across this article a few minutes ago…just another one of the great reasons to eat Paleo and why I'm thankful we have such a kick ass CSA happening at the box!!

Ahh I was in a training all day yesterday and I missed AOM. Great choice, coaches. “I never thought my freaking gym would be such an integral part of my life.” – Joel W, I couldn’t agree more. I’m so happy and proud to be a part of CFSBK. Thank you all!!

Agreed, everyone in front and behind the camera did a great job.
I just took a very long nap and feel a LOT better. Feeling a bit sleep deprived the last few days but trying to change that now. Not in the gym tonight but will be doing a ton of stuff from home. Also, I went to the post office today to do some change of address stuff and actually ended up doing it all on my iphone while waiting on line. Why am I telling you all this? I have no idea.. I just wanted to write a comment!

Late FGB wrap-up…
FGB: 303 rx'd
-had a lofty goal of 325 but was glad I broke 300. The first round felt AMAZING! Then I died in the second round. 3rd round didn't feel so bad since I knew we'd be done soon enough.
-thanks to my amazingly stylish teammates and to all who were there to support and encourage!
I just want to reiterate what folks have already said over the past couple of days. FGB was truly an amazing event. Not only because we raised a shit-ton of money for some great causes, but because it's days like this where our community really comes together. It was so exciting to have our gym packed with sbkers, friends, spouses, babies, parents and dogs! I think we actually had enough dogs there for their own team! Molly and Tucker were jealous but they'll be ready next year… 😉
Also excellent work to the MGMT for running a pretty smooth day. I still find it hard to believe that we were able to put 100 people through that workout! Can't wait to see what we hit next year!!!

Hey, quick FGB fundraising question. I just found out that my company does corporate matching of gifts – but I don't quite know how to get info on donations out of the sportsgrant website which would reflect both my donation, as well as the tax status of the organization. So, has anyone done this before? Also, we should all check with our donors to see who else can get corporate matches, yes? Thanks!

Hey All! My first and forever CF Coach Osorio has mandated that I check in once a month, so here I am.
LOVE the pics from FGB; your team names are the best. It makes me miss you all more than usual. Especially Stella.
I wanted to put something out to the SBK hive mind: CF Endurance. Have any of you done it? I've just started to do it on my own, incorporating it with the WODs I do at CF Pittsburgh, but feeling overwhelmed. The Endurance blog seems thorough but is kind of difficult to parse. (At least for me.) So any tips or guidance ya'll could offer would be much appreciated!

You planning on pushing the prowler around on Friday night? If so, what time?
Hey Snip! We miss you!

Been really bad about posting lately. I miss a week and just fall apart. Getting back on the horse!
FGB: 339, which is a pr. I was shooting for 350 in the back of my mind but was pretty happy with my score overall. My favorite part was the energy that carried through the event to the afternoon and evening afterward….very energetic!
Congrats to all for the Universal AOTM! I say it to friends and family a lot that I spend so much time at CFSBK and with CFSBKers because I've never met such a committed, interesting, diverse, and pure hearted bunch of folks.
Got my press work in today, 125-130-135-140-145F. Got 145 up twice but got a bit overextended and unbalanced and the third rep stalled. Felt good, been a while since pressing, it was fun stuff.
David Osorio says
SNIP,
Listen to your body! If it feels like too much, it probably is. You might want to cut back on the volume/intensity on the CFPitt WODs and or CFE until you find the volume that works for you.
Great to see you posting!!
