Good luck and farewell to Christian D who after over a year of training at CFSBK will be moving to The Hague (Netherlands)! Christian has made enormous gains with us and we can't wait to hear all about his training overseas.

5353 meters(approx.) Partnered with Shawn.
Samir Chopra says
Partnered with Noah for this beast. We decided to bail out every 350-400 meters. In practice this turned into anywhere between 325 to 375, with a few smaller transitions thrown in at the end as we both got exhausted. Noah very kindly took over for the last 50 seconds!
We got to 5200 meters with an average split of 1.55.4. I was wrecked at the end. Great working with Noah!
Noah says
Awesome working with you too Samir. I love partner workouts, especially at things I’m terrible at (rowing, in this case) where the other guy can bail me out!
Michele says
the WOD i have been waiting for!
partnered with Nick. Distance 4610, ave split 2:10. fun! so glad nobody hurled. that would’ve been a downer.
also thanks to Fox for the handstand primer. i never did that before!
David Mak says
Did this on my own at a gym in Minneapolis. Didn’t understand the exact parameters, thought it was a timed event to 5000 meters. I used each 500 split as my ghost partners time/rest period. 5000 meters in 18:10 with a 5 second addition factored into each transition
Laurel says
Partnered with Steve who was masterful at talking me through the row. Have been out of the gym a lot in the last month and really felt it on this row – phew.
I think we were 4522, with an average split of 2:12.
ShawnS says
5353 with Vince. I was really proud of this one. We both pushed hard and got well over 5000.
We broke it up into 350meters a piece until the last 2 transitions. That was the right amount until you hit about 3800m. I think at that point we couldve done less and a few more switches.
I think splits were 151.
