the amrap was fun. 9 rounds even at 105lbs. it was kinda scary trying to lock out those jerks when huffing and puffing, but very satisfying.

So, scaled this up to 1559 Rounds + 3 Jerks
After Round 2 I looked at the clock and realized I was only 1:16 in. Gut check.
Two jerks sets broken (1, 2) & (2,1)Doubles broke after the 2nd or 3rd round. I try to stay relaxed as best I can and take rests so I’m not dying at the bar.FUN.Note, i did neither muscle-ups, preses nor yesterday’s wod. kudos to the rest of you

Still feeling the effects of the 12 minute Front Squat, C2B Pullup and Double Under AMRAP, followed by wall ball practice (50 reps) last night.
Some MU practice, right shoulder still not liking these.
Stayed light with pressing: 45×5, 75×5, 95x5x5, 115×5
Went with 135lbs for today’s wod.
10 rounds + 3 push jerks.
Doubles almost all unbroken throughout.All push jerks unbroken.
Felt like I was doing non-stop doubles and the push jerks were my active rest.
Would be interested to see how this would have gone with 5 or 8 push jerks@135 and 20 doubles.

Burner – 6 rounds plus 2 3/4 push jerks @ 115Much tougher than I though it was going to be.

Muscle up practice involved my first ever strung together mature strict muscle ups. (Long sentence). Got a pair once. Round 1 was 1 + a high pull with a slipped false grip. Round 2 was 2 + same attempt. Round 3 was just like round 2.
Press was pretty rough. Was feeling pretty weak from food poisoning earlier in the week. Did 105, 105, 105, 95, 95×4.
Plan was to take it slightly slower on the wod. Did it at 115. Managed 6 rounds even. First two rounds of doubles were on broken and I was really feeling light headed. After that I intentionally broke the doubles into sets of 15. Last round the doubles became trouble and ended up piece meal as I was just so light headed.

Muscle-up practice – first ever strung together strict muscle ups for me too! 2 in a row! This was hard though. I did 2, 1+1assisted, 1+1assisted.
Press: 75x5x5 Felt good. I wasn’t sure where to start because I haven’t done this movement for awhile.
WOD: scaled up to 105. This was challenging after all the arm work earlier. 6 rounds. ick.
