Alternatively – if you just ran in the park or rode your bike, it is open gym from 11-1 today at CFV. Haven’t decided what I am doing yet, would like to lift but should probably run. sigh.

Did a slow, untimed 2.44 mile run in Prospect Park (the Grand Army Plaza – Center Drive loop). First exercise since Sunday’s monster. Felt good to stretch the legs.

Did the same route as Joe, but also ran to and from the park to stretch it to 3 miles. Run was in the rain, so i got what amounted to a caveman shower. Hehe. Came home and did situps, pushups, and worked on handstands.
1 week in…haven’t noticed any major differences yet. But I was sick for most of the week, which likely neutralized a lot of the positive effects. I have high hopes for next week, and for my first real CF workout tomorrow since going “primal.”

I an growing hair all over my body, drawing pictures of what I eat on the living room walls, and my skull feels somewhat thicker (I know, I didn’t think it possible either!). I also have this odd desire to carry Jess on my shoulder. Wierd.

Greetings from sunny Sydney. Did a 11K ride on a stationary bike (lame, I know, but I don’t have a bike here and didn’t know how to about renting one). I plan to do the 5K row tomorrow.

Ran 5K at the gym (Body Elite on Court St. So does that make me a Body Elitist?).
5K | 22:44 — which ended 3 straight 5Ks. Going to focus on rowing next week. And doing reps and reps of curls in the mirror. Grrrr.

Today was my rest day, and I was mighty happy for it. Hope to make up the 5k on Tuesday.

This is 23 less than when we did it in September but this time it was Rx’d at 55lbs and all box jumps, not step-ups like last time. I started with wall ball and went out to hard, which really slowed down my other movements. Should have strategized better.
I gave double-unders a go before class and got 53 PR!

Rowed 3k at the Y, then did an improvised WOD of 5pull-ups/15kettlebell swings, 8 sets. In an industrial section of south Los Angeles now and it’s pouring. Was gonna run but not sure what to do now… So lost without CFSBK waaagh.
At the end of week 1 of the Primal Challenge, I’m FINALLY not feeling suicidal. Headaches have eased up. I have even had occasional moments of complete levity, like I’m high, though sometimes that levity just feels like I’m going to pass out. I took two naps on Sunday and have a totally new fondness for bananas (though I know to be careful of all its sugar).
