As I’ll be totalling tomorrow, I’m thinking of going 5×3 or 5×5 as to not burn out before attempting a 1RM press tomorrow.

Press (1): (45×3, 65×3, 85) 95, 97, 100 (!), 102 (f) twice100 ties my old PR and beats what I got on saturday.

Snatches felt good, box jumps were okay, situps were super slow. Another thing to add to my 2010-to-do-list, along with pullups, dips, l-sits and fixing my squat.

Press: 5 sets across of 85#x3. Kept it light because I’ll be doing the CrossFit Total tomorrow night.
AMRAP: 4 rounds + 14 snatches, 24″/20#. Again with the lightness.
I also got a new PR before class for consecutive double-unders with 43. Old mark was 27. Felt awesome.

Missed yesterday’s Lyceum thread. The space is truly unique and an incredible structure. I’m really going to miss it. Maybe I will return for batting practice or boho jazz hour or A Charlie Brown Christmas Part II. Prob not.

Warmup: 1500m row like Monday beginning at 2:40. Focused more on my split time consistency and under 20 s/m. But, felt really tired by the last 300 so then just rowed to finish.
Press:(22×5, 45×5, 55×3, 60×2)Work: 70x3x5
Accessory Wod: 25lb snatch, 20″ box3 rounds plus all snatches, all bj’s (ha!), and 18 situps. I got this god-aweful stitch/cramp in my side during my 3rd round of bj’s (ha,ha!) which definitely slowed me down. No excuses though. It was fun to chase Tam…until she pulled away. Damn.
Only 3 more wod’s at the Lyceum!

Press: sets across @ 47 lbs. Wanted to do 50 lbs but wasn’t feeling it.
AMRAP:15# and 20″ box. 20 situps short of 4 rounds, but I finished them anyway:)

Kept the Pressing light so I could attempt a 1RM today during the total. (45×8, 65×8) 85x8x5
Focused on technique, and being consistent with the approach to the bar, hand and rack position, foot position, and posture while pressing. Trying toinimize the noise from first removing the bar to begining the press.
Accessory work:Kept it light @35lbs for the snatching.24inch Box JumpsAnchored Situps
finished 5 rounds + 10 MHPS on the right arm before time was called.All situps and MHPS were unbroken.Boxjumps required a slight pause between reps (can’t cycle these… Yet.)
