Apple Movie Trailers
What movies are you looking forward to seeing?
who wants to go to bkb tonight?
Shawn and I are both going. we haven’t set a time. Probably 7?
I predict OHS in the immediate future.
Great minds Shawn and Sameer!
Regan and I are gonna go tonight probably around the same time if not a little before. Look forward to seeing you guys there.
Last night was awesome. I know there was a lot of hurry up and wait but everyone beasted out on the WOD. Great performances from every single member last night. Looking forward to doing it tomorrow…kind of
I’m looking forward to District 9 big time
Movies I’m anticipating:
District NineWhip ItWhere the Wild Things AreIron Man 2Inglourious BasterdsTron LegacyAlice In WonderlandSherlock Holmes
I’d be curious to see what my time on the 21-15-9 OHS and Pullup workout is…
New Moon. I’m not ashamed even though I should be.
Question:
Does anyone have a food dehydrator that they wouldn’t mind me borrowing? If so, email me at shpaddock@gmail.com.
Thanks!
had my ass handed to me by the spicy meatball this morning. might have been that much more painful due to little to none sleep, but regardless, loved it.
19:36 30lb dumb bells.

oh, and eat, pray, love with julia roberts as elizabeth gilbert. i loved the book.
They were filming for Eat, Pray, Love in Carroll Gardens this past week. First at Robin du Bois and then at BookCourt on Sunday night. Fewers gawkers than you would think.
i think you all should be able to view this, there’s an awesome piece on the CF Games website about the CF Community…

Weird I used to be such a movie guy.Over the past couple years ( I think when we first got our dog) we started going to the movies less and less.
Sameer, I’ll be there so long as i dont have to pickup my car from the mechanic. I mean I might go anyways–but hopefully i dont have to pick up from the mechanic at 7 PM.
Overhead Squat MEEB !
Oh I saw a trailer for this movie “The Road” with Viggo Mortensen that looks pretty good
I’m deeply regretting having missed both Monday night and Tuesday morning. With David’s permission, I’d to make up the meatball workout one of these mornings. Perhaps next Tuesday?
Samir,
We shall make it so.
District 9!!A Serious Man (Cohen Brothers!)TaxidermiaThe HappeningPonty Pool
NO ONE wants to see Jennifer’s Body?
so after all the district 9 comments and having no clue what it was about, i watched the trailer.
it looks pretty damn good! lets go!!
D9 seems weird. It may rock, but from the trailers it seems really inconsistent. What’s the deal with aliens who are powerful enough to
a) travel hereb) want to go home
but
c) not be able to go home because the humans won’t let them?d) are forced to live in a refugee camp?
I can sort of figure well if their ship is broken, then they might be stuck. but:
a) their ship is hovering over the city, doesn’t look broken to meb) If their ship was broken they wouldn’t be pleading with the humans to let them go home, unless the humans had the power to fix their ship?
iow: wtf. I’m confused. Maybe seeing the movie will clear it all up.
Imaginarium. Terry Gilliam == rule.
I just checked out the trailer at
http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/movies/2009/08/11/2009-08-11_heath_ledger_in_the_imaginarium_of_doctor_parnassus_trailer_gives_glimpse_of_his.html
damn that gave me chills!
Sameer: Every single movie that involves aliens visiting earth is stricken by these inconsistencies. Think about it – you can master the immense distances of interplanetary travel, but you are lacking in all those things that make your stay on earth a miserable one. Its a concept thats bound to have a hard time working.
Having said that, I’m keen to see District 9.
couldnt make it to BKB since my damn car still isnt fixed.
Did cindy at home…dripping sweat as I type this 13 rounds/maybe 14 I lost count at one point.
I will say its kind of a good feeling to stumble from that workout into an air conditioned room.
See you guys tomorrow or Thurs
David: Thanks very much! I look forward to suffering just as much as my fellow CF’ers did.

Where the Wild Things Are – Read MANY times over as a child, and with my own kids…hope it’s done well
Imaginarium – looks amazing!
Hadn’t heard of The Road – but it looks pretty sweet.
cloyde — i knows! i’m kidding! ;P jennifer’s body looks so outrageously bad. you couldn’t pay me to see it. sadly though, you COULD pay me to see the remake of Fame. Hot! Grand Jeté! Action!
