6:46 (or something like that, shortly after Carlos) w/ 40 lb dumbell.
then did db press 50s 3 sets of 10
The lunges hurt my butt after yesterdays squat-zilla
David McG says
6:19 1pd. lunges sucked, got worse as the WOD progressed. great WOD though, burpees are a great incentive not to let go.
Skin the Cats where great. Will do more of them.
DB Press 10×3 50lbs
Chris Fox says
Did this at home today.
1 1/2 pood and subbed alternating reverse lunges.
5:55, and was pleased the bell didn’t go down once.
Tried to skin at least one of our two cats (I’m a dog person), but the wife wouldn’t have it.
See you at the Shoulder Seminar!
Anne says
Bummed I’m missing the shoulder seminar but such is the caveat of a freelancer’s life: working on Sunday afternoons.
I’m pretty stoked with 5:43 on today’s wod.
I’m mortified that despite that, I can still get tangled inside my sports bra, presumably because my arms go numb after some measly max-hangs. Ladies, you know what I’m talking about.
God willing, this is one of the movements covered in the shoulder seminar.

skinning the cat? whaaaaa? definitely glad i’m missing that! good to see you guys last night!
Bethany says
7:54 with 12kg. 🙂
paul says
7:26 with 1.5 pood. I thought that was going to be too heavy at first but in retrospect it was a good weight.
paul says
btw, this is a really good article I saw on the cfnyc site about the tabata protocol:http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/research-review/effects-of-moderate-intensity-endurance-and-high-intensity-intermittent-training-on-anaerobic-capacity-and-vo2-max.html

I miss everyone. I think about South Brooklyn daily. Keeping active at my gym at work.
I’ll try to stop in more often.

I believe the time was 7:30 @ 1.5pood
Not pleased with the results, grip failure killed my time on this one. I need my own little chalk baggie…
Adding this to the list of things to work on:RunningRowingGrip StrengthCleaning (at home and in the gym)Handstand pushupsand ring work.
David Mak says
AJ – I know the feeling. Being gone for three weeks, CFSBK was on my mind every day as well. Once CFSBK becomes a part of you, you become a part of CFSBK.

Shoulder seminar rocked.
Malcolm says
Backing off is hard. Hung out and did skill work/mobility work while everyone else worked hard. Fun being in the gym in the lightning and thunder.
Scott says
