JacintoStorm 2009
The Storm will kick off at 11am tomorrow. We're going to run it like one large class and have it spill over the 12pm class. There will be no Teaser or 10am class so that we can set up the space and focus our attention on Jacinto's Birthday WOD. Try to get there at 11 for the group warm-up and heat assignments, if you get there a little late please warm-up on your own and see us about placement. It's going to be a great day!

On the road to Boston.David, do you know Sunday’s workout? I may have to switch the storm and Sundays WOD unless I want to limp at the wedding.
Anyhow I got the blog up, but still have to fix some of the design and layout. For now it’ll work as my WOD journal and rambling space. I got 2 entries up on 2 consecutive days and the about page done…close to a blogging record for me!: http://www.chasingrx.wordpress.com

We brought kettle bells and rings on vacation.
WU 20 kb swings, 10 kb cleans (each side) x 3
50 Burpee ring-pullups for time: 5:59
First time doing ring pullups for a wod. Pullups from 30 on were often not from full lockout from a combination of awkwardness and fatigue.
Also tried muscle-ups for the first time. Got 4 singles! Woohoo!
Tomorrow I’ll replicate the Jacinto Storm as best I can.

Geeez hotel mcgym has no pull up bar….gotta find plan b for storm pullups
