So the results are in and it seems that we've been bested in our first CFSBK vs. CF NorCal monthly challenge. Both teams put up some great times but NorCal pulled ahead with some super impressive numbers. Needless to say we had a lot of fun but are now focused on next month's Squat Off! First 50 du’s were unbroken, but I had too many misses after that. Not a bad time, seeing as how I haven’t been able to do double-unders recently. My shins feel… well, just a little tender, which is far better then the shooting pain of the past.

First time I’ve managed a set of 3 with the 90 lb dumbbells, so that was nice. After that I was kind of mentally done. The last set was barely an attempt.

Annie: 15:51. Palindrome!
Counted attempts. I had some single single double strings but no actual strung together doubles. Next double under workout I will not count attempts.
After recovering a bit I did heavy single pullups. Worked up to 82 which was 1/2 body weight. Tried 92, did it but then realized I hadn’t started at a hang but a bit above and then was too tired to get it afterwards.

Kettlebell Swings were really fun. Interested to see what the KB WOD woulda been.
150 singles (5 box jumps), 120 singles 10 box jumps, 90 singles 10 box jumps, 20 doubles (counted attempts) and couldnt string anything together, 10 doubles counted attempts and couldnt string any together.
did sit ups as prescribed. I thought. I finished in 15:51 but thats what Malcolm did and Im pretty sure he finished before me.Annie sucked. Double unders have definitely regressed because I havent practiced them. Im gonna try to get back on those and pullups this next 4 week cycle. I should have a little more time since the school year ends this Friday.
I hate the feeling I had during Annie that I just cant do the workout since I cant do the movement.
My body is definitely more sore now from Jackie. “Dating” 2 different Crossfit ladies on 2 consecutive days is tough.
Congrats to Sara, Laurel and everyone else who got those DUs in.
Frank was a beast. He knocked it out in 8:15 and tried his best to coach me through DUs.

Oh yea, Im also thinking about doing this 100 pushup challenge after we finish our Max Bench Press cycle, anyone interested in joining me?
I started it before I started crossfit but I fell off the wagon. It always helps to have other people along for the ride

Annie: 7:27 (pr)PR’d by about a minute, mainly because I put more effort into making my sit-ups as fast as possible. Now the focus is on unbroken double-unders.

Separated double-unders with singles and counted attempts. First time ever doing Annie with doubles. Nice to know my time will only get better from here on out.
I’m down for the push-up challenge! I’ve been working on my strict push-ups doing max a lot of days before class, but I love the idea of having a more specific regimen. What’s the start date?
