Front Squats:185×5, 205×5, 225×5(pr), 245×2*, 245×2 (Should have tried for 235, but I was greedy…)
Double Unders:50 first round, 51 second round.
Have not done 5×5 for a while and did not feel strong today. Weight felt pretty heavy@245 coming out of the rack. 5×3’s were strong last month where I topped out at 245×3(pr) and 255×2 (so close to 3…)
Fun lifting with you Malcolm, once you find a working rack position you’ll be killing these.
Was looking through the site to compare performance in the Deadlift/Pushup wod from last time. Lucked out that it was on 1.18.09. Became very excited when I saw that my time dropped from 3:24 to 2:31!

i concur, CrossFit is AWESOME!!

I suck at front squatting. I need to figure out the rack. Or maybe I am just a sissy and it is supposed to hurt that much.
135X5, 155X5, 175X2, 155X2. I then did some zombie front squats with just the bar and then 115X5 twice.
On the exercises I hate I will have to now officially list front squats. Is there something sick about me that I want to do the things I hate the most?

ugh. today was not my day. it just felt so heavy!

i did a few partial sets that david made me redo in full. these are just the full sets. my form was falling apart at 85, so i scaled back. i looked back in my journal and saw that i lifted 100lbs when i did 3×5 FS back in march. how did i do that???

front squat: 95×5, 105×5, 115×5, 120×5, 125×2 failed on the third, 125×3 failed on the fourth… grr. Felt very heavy at the end and left me quivery and starving. Can’t wait to try it again – thanks for the pointers everyone, I will try them all out next time.
