“The World Without Us”, a book which the first link is based off of is a pretty interesting read. Apparently the subways would flood almost immediately if the pump systems went down which is what the first picture is about. The pyramids, which Paul is Handstanding in front of would slowly erode to small hills over a couple hundred thousand years.
Some of the last remnants of Humanity over millions of years would be made out of plastic and bronze. Eventually, microbes would develop that could metabolize plastic leaving almost no sign that humans ever existed.

Pretty cool stuff. Let’s hope the MTA doesn’t strike again or the rats will really take over the subway.

Anyone need a partner for tomorrow Beat the Streets thing? According to weather.com, the rains are suppose to stop by early morning.
Dan R says
Erik, I’m down. Sounds like a good time too!
For efficacy it makes sense to do sequential DL’s, followed by a clean and press.
Are we going as RX’d?Deadlift 305lbsClean 115lbs (I assume this is a full squat clean)Shoulder Press 115lbs
Margie says
Dan, I don’t think you can change the order of the movements. I think it’s gotta be DL then clean the press then burpee
