I’m not sure what my time was on the workout because class started right after I finished. I think it was around 12minutes.. The first round of weighted pull-ups was really awkward as i kept dropping the dumbbell. Once I realized I could carry it and kip with it between my feet I made a lot more progress.
I really enjoyed the flavor of this workout.

Learned overhead squat. Got up to 47x3x2.Then WOD with 15# DBs and pull ups with blue band. 11:26. Late night. Kinda tired. Looking forward to first class saturday.

Am out in Austin for a few days shooting SxSW. Hope to make it out to an Austin Crossfit at some point. In the meantime did two sets of tabata burpees before breakfast.

I think this was a damned good workout.
Ditched the heavy lifting in favor of the group WOD.7:26 scaled up to 40lb dumbbells.
How much did I love our string ensemble accompanyment tonight? So beautiful.
9:51 w/ 15lb dbs, white band pullups, mostly strict but some kipping.
My lats were a’shakin’ after that + snatch deadlifts!

i manages to get six strict pullups on the first round without the band but i think had i started with the burpees i would have gotten maybe three…
that was really hard for me and as a result i have no idea what my time was…
