Accessory WOD (bodyweight = 185 lbs):3:17 (pr by a lot)
That felt great. My goal was to break 4 minutes, something I’d never done before (last time was 4:24, I believe). Had no need to even pause on these, everything just felt really good.
I was able to blaze through the first 3 front squats, no problem, but then those last two were really hard.
accessory: 140lbs (bw 138?) 4:54-ish
should not have taken any pauses at all on the accessory wod. Got easy at the end, should have just pushed through the early rounds without any pause… that probably lost me 15-30 seconds right there.

later: two entrees at sheep station, and then ice cream w/nibs and port at chocolate room.

So 55 reps per exercise?

Totally tweaked my back on the kettlebells-I’m chalking it up to sloppy form when putting the bell down.

Went out to CF Oakland today. It was great, as expected from everyone’s previous experiences. Super chill vibe, nice peeps.
Since we cleaned yesterday, coach Loren let us do what we wanted.
FSQ 5×580,85,95,100,105105 was a bit tough, but I think I should have gone to 110.
Accessory WODDL @1155:37Finally got to do this workout again and it was great! Felt really strong. I believe the last time I did this it took me 8 something and I used 115, which was less than BW – this time it’s a bit more.

WOD9.35. yeesh!back was rounding, so had to reduce weight. need to work on flexibility to ensure proper form. looking forward to trying this sucker again.

Front squats: 145, 165, 185, 205, 205. The 205 felt strong, but was the best I could do without compromising technique.
As for the mini-WOD went with slightly heavier than body weight (+5lbs @ 165lbs) and finished in 3:24.
Thanks Paul for the shout out! Mad props to everyone for rocking this workout as hard as they could, and an extra one for Jeremy who gives hope it can be done in near 2 minutes…
First attempt at this DL Pushups ladder, but I really like it. Decided to be a little conservative and switch grips at 50% point for each set, but I think if I were to do this again I wouldn’t waste the time. Will shoot for sub 3 next time.

Walked into CrossFit Oakland and the posted WOD was Hang Power Cleans for a single. “tough shit”
Worked up to 185 but didn’t go much further because i was catching them either a little wide or not at all.
Afterwards i did a WOD with one of their athletes:135 Pwr Clean x10Muscle Ups x53 Rounds For time
6:10 i think. It was a lot harder because i had done 20 power cleans and 12 muscle ups to warm up before hand not knowing what they wanted me to do. This redundancy seems to be a theme…
