Fish oil alert!
I read about this discount on CFSF. Nordic Naturals is one of two brands I like a lot, so check this out!
From Kelly Starret
“We have some friends over at Nordic Naturals in Santa Cruz that extended a 20% discount on their fish oil to Crossfitters (any crossfitter).
Click on the Fish Oil link above or paste this link into your browser. http://www.nordicprodirect.com/patient_join/?mydocid=crossfit
We really don’t care what brand you use, just get on the stuff. I like the nordic naturals because I don’t burp fish oil all day. Juliet can even take the pills. The lemon and spiced apple cod liver oil are so good, that my daughter Georgia ASKS for it as a special treat. “Oil please!”
Enjoy! The link doesn’t expire.”

75,80,85,90f,90f,90f,87fdropped to 72 and did a boatload of singles. It’s been far too long since I’ve cleaned heavy and, as David said, I wasn’t committing to getting under the bar even though I was pulling it high enough. Next thing to work on…
L-sit- 34s and 30s
Juliana – really excellent work. Your form is pretty solid and I think you’ll pull 100# in no time.
Haven’t been posting food cause my interweb is missing at home, but it’s been clean clean clean.
Thinking about either sausage and peppers or lamb tagine for Sunday. Any preferences?

Hello all,
Just got back from working in london and now off for some much needed vaca in florida. On the plane flights I managed to plow through most of Gary Taubes “Good Calories, Bad Calories”. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in what food really does to the body and how science and govts have deceived us into eating exactly the wrong things. He traces the evolution of scientific research from the late 1800s until today with all the gory details. Anyone following a zone/paleo diet should definitely read this or else risk falling prey to the latest snake oil salesmen pushing the next fad. This along with “The Omnivore’s Dilemmna” and “Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy” are the most fascinating and reasonable books I’ve read on health, diet, ecosystem, and their interaction.
Hope everyone is well…I look forward to getting back to CFSBK (more than spordically) soon.

I want chocolate. And cheese.
HELP.
Adam says
something about today is definitely making me want unpaleo foods.
Juliana says
Man I was working outdoors today and I wanted a hot chocolate with white chocolate so bad!! I could smell all this delicious unpaleo stuff today and I was so close on caving in.Margie u can do it, stay strong girl it’s almost over. I think the biggest challenge coming is thanksgiving (omg help!). My family doesn’t understand what I’m doing and they think I’m nuts; they asked me “Since u can’t eat rice u can have beans right?”
Thanks stephanie! Feel better
Emily says
Thanks for the shout out, David. We will bring the trophy next week. You will be impressed. It is quite the pimp cup.
Jeremy says
I thought Thanksgiving was a free pass for the Paleo Challenge? If it isn’t, then as arbiter of the challenge, I declare it so.
