hehe– thanks for the article, David! i’ve found it pretty easy to figure out how to freeze, dry, or gift whatever’s leftover from a CSA pick-up (which often isn’t a lot)…unless you’re someone who’s eating the majority of your meals out, which seems weird if you joined a CSA anyway.
i’m seriously missing the CF routine this week! started a course of antibiotics (ugh) for a bad sinus infection and the combo has me feeling like a mound of jelly, even after some basic squats & pushups. are there classes this weekend, or does the cert take the full days?

Sorry to hear you’re sick Hill! I’m sure you know this, but make sure to load up on acidophilus and cultured foods to counter act those antibiotics.

WOD:21:23 as Rx’d. 1:23 Slower than last time. Less intensity without a crowd cheering you on for sure. I also went slower on the Erg to conserve energy, finished the 1K at 3:45. Overall i’m happy with my effort.

Honestly, well done. That was a good WOD.
Also, if anyone who’s not going to the cert this weekend is interested, I’m planning on going to the old hunting grounds for a body weight WOD. Probably Angie or Cindy.

Went to Crossfit San Francisco yesterday with Anne. They have an interesting space to say the least.Basically, under the Golden gate bridge.Adrain Bozman from the Crossfit videos led the class. Total gentleman. We did a warm up and the WOD was “The chief” I did 19 rounds and Anne did 21. They had a white board up and it seems that people have listed all types of excuses for poor workouts. Very funny stuff.
Everyone was very nice, the space was great but there is no comparison to Crossfit South Brooklyn. David, Shane and Jacinto have done a hell of a job creating our CrossFit community.If all goes well I visit Crossfit Oakland Or Crossfit east bay on Saturday.

Oh also! There are no classes this weekend. However, there will most likely be a group of people going to dinner on Sat night and I’m sure it’d be just lovely to have an SBK kids come out, even if you’re not going to the cert.
Perhaps David will post our plans???

WOD 20:54 w/65lbs………ugh felt like 40:54 to me. My body was just not functioning well last night. Thanks Jeremy for helping me get through the last set of thrusters when I wanted to quit. Looking forward to this weekend!

31:03 and to be honest I am glad just to have finished. Margie thanks for getting on me with my upper back… The muscles in my upper and middle traps are sore today so I know they were kicking in better.
