Ya know what else hurts? The workouts Dani and CJ Martin have been putting me through-
Day 1- run 400, btb tabata squats, tabata pull-ups and push-ups, Hellen, Ab Work (all without a break at all)Day 2- Snatch work and IsabellDay 3- Diane.. lots and lots of corrective work on keeping my back setDay 4- 5 round for time of 400m run 30 thrusters with45# THEN h2h KB drills and GHD to turn my keg into a 6 packDay 5- 5 rounds for time 7 95#cleans & 15 HSPUs..
Every workout starts with a run.Tomorrow is Day one of week 2.
Dani is one of the most motivating coaches ever. She’s a tiny little thing but she means business.

Didn’t get a chance to do Jacinto’s buns of steel workout with the group class so I did a variation of it at home
Good one Jacinto. Tried to get 30 # DBs for the cleans but they were out at Modell’s (haters)

Sorry, that should have read 1:37.6, as in time. I died with about 150m to go, so with a bit of work I think I can get the ‘advanced’ level 1:32.
Anyone know of a public 400m track in the city? I’m not looking forward to running backwards on the hudson river park.

there’s one on the east side near 6th street and the FDR. easiest way to access it is to go to houston and then walk all the way to the FDR to get on the path, then walk north a few blocks.
there are more options in brooklyn, including mccarren park – first stop on the L in williamsburg, walk north on driggs until you hit the park. other options include ft. hamilton high school in bay ridge or kaiser park in coney island.

95, 100, 105, 115, 125 x 5
went over the rx seven reps but i could not get past 125 so i did it a few times.
metcon- 10:13
lunch- fuel + salmon and peanut-butter chocolate protein shake + ton of water + good people to eat with
after that erik and i went to prospect park and did a pull up tabada
was only able to hang in there with a consistent 5 reps but in this heat i think that was pretty good.
