“Running Isabel”

Notes
This workout was inspired by the CrossFit Games event “Running Isabel” which consists of five rounds of a couplet of running and snatches. The games featured a shorter 200 foot run, which meant for an exciting, very fast event (sub 3 minutes!). Today’s variation will allow for a bit more “recovery” between each round of snatches with the longer run.
The intent for today is that this workout is <15 minutes. Choose a power snatch weight that is challenging to cycle, but not so heavy that you need to resort to singles.
Power Snatches
If you’re new to snatching, you could also perform 5 hang power snatches each round instead.
