Max Reps Bodyweight Bench Press
Max Reps Bodyweight Strict Pull ups
Rest as needed between exercises.
Notes
We are taking a break from heavy 5’s this week to perform a classic CF Benchmark workout “Lynne”. Every week, we’ve performed drop sets, so you should have a really good sense of what lifting to failure is like.
If working to true maximums, you will need to make sure you rest adequately before alternating to the next exercise.
If you are new to benching and unsure of how to choose the right loading for your bench press, think in % of bodyweight (25%, 33%, 50%….) or simply aiming to hit at least 8-10 challenging reps every round.
For instance your workout may look like this:
