Snatch Balance (Intermediate +)
Overhead Squat (beginner)
The snatch balance is an assistance lift that helps develop speed, confidence and strength under the barbell. If you feel comfortable with your overhead squat and bailing, perform the snatch balance. If you struggle with Overhead Squats or have never performed this movement out of a rack, give this more foundational movement a shot. With both movements, the intent is not to max out, rather to move a challenging load well.
