This week’s Fit55 classes are free and open to all (not just for parents), so spread the word and invite a buddy! We recommend having an exercise mat or similar to perform any floor based exercises on (a rug or carpet will do) and a filled backpack or tote bag to use as a weight. Also logging on a few minutes early to check your audio and video connections is always a good idea. We’ll be in the normal zoom room posted on the blog. Hope to see you there!

So inspiring how many people are doing Fit55!
Thank goodness for NFT work today. I’m hurting from yesterday. A lot. Consistent with my answer to QOD (“what is an extremely useful item you own?”) I spent some quality time with the lax ball after class. Man, er, strong adult makers plus curtsy squats really fry the glutes.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shoe didn’t fall or even move around much when I tried doing my first round of Turkish getups with a shoe instead of weight to see how my balance was. Balance has never been one of my strong points but my (very cute metallic multicolored) shoe stayed flat on my hand the whole time. Thanks for that suggestion Whit, it was good to have confirmation!
