Today is a scheduled rest/recovery day, but don’t worry! We are open and running on a normal class schedule. In today’s CrossFit group classes, you’ll have the option of doing either yesterday or tomorrow’s programming, which can be found in the comments section of today and every Rest Day’s post.
Congrats to team Alice in WODerland for winning this year’s Spirit of Fight Gone Bad Award! Check out more of Robert C.’s great photos from the day on our Flickr account!

Alice in WODerland crushed the team spirit!
I had an epic morning!
6am:
HBBS: 150 3×2
In my first attempted set, I failed the second rep!! I lost tension then couldn’t stand it up! I hadn’t called for a spot, so I sat there with the bar on my back for what felt like :15 as I called out “help! spot!” since I knew we weren’t supposed to bail backsquats. I don’t know if that was the right call!
I decided to try again… with a belt. OMG! Are belts cheating? It was 6,000 times easier. Did both sets of 3.
WOD: 145# (felt *plenty* heavy with 7 unbroken sets of 5), 3 strict pullups
13:15
This was hard. Definitely didn’t sprint the BBJO.
Now, my right shoulder near my spine hurts a little, especially when I twist. I wonder if I hurt it with that backsquat??? It’s like a dull pain when I move in certain ways. Luckily tomorrow is a rest day??

A belated THANK YOU for all the love on the blog yesterday. I’m lucky to be part of such a supportive community. It’s been a great three years (what?!?) — here’s to many more.
