The last few weeks following the A/B news have been pretty rough. When darkness emblanketeths us at approximately 6:36pm (source: http://www.weather.com). I find that I am descending into a dark chasm, dropping deeper and deeper and lacking the strength to climb back to the surface using the the speed wrap technique or the other one where you twist it around your foot somehow. When the sun finally rises at 6:52 am (ibid), it but revealeths the clock face that I must crawl across until I can finally find some REST! REST!
Might this be a cry for help! Perhaps it is. I am seeking a very specific kind of help – the kind that I know this beautiful, generous crazy-quilty community that we share can provide. I am raising money for my team BRING IT ON FLEEK. We are participating in a fun event called "Fight Gone Bad" at our CrossFit "box" (think gym without the cool mirrors and 3lbs hand weights) in order to raise money for the Brooklyn Community Foundation. No we won't be fighting each other! We'll be rowing, throwing, pushing, pulling and jumping though!
Please look within your hearts to contribute to our cause and help me realize that even though Brad and Angie couldn't make it in this world, there is hope …. specifically hope that my team can raise the most money for this thing and step onto a 24in box /podium while the glorious strains of City of Satan cast away the clouds and bringeth the light into my life again.

Finally, I am sure that many of you, like me, have friends and relatives that secretly despise us yet are in search of tax write offs this time of year. Please reach out to them and point them to my fundraising page. Remember that their spitefulness in ignoring your appeal whilst responding to mine will ultimately benefit the wonderful people at the BCF. A link to my fundraising page is below.

Honored to have Jay as a teammate! Yes, those of you teamless cfsbk members who are looking to donate, please pull jay from the depths of his despair back to the light and donate to Bring It On Fleek! Specifically, Jay, so he can stand atop the podium wearing a cheerleading skirt!
Hbbs: 142.5 5×2
Fsq: 135×3 (not low enough), 132.5×5 (barely) :/
Wod with Alex and Hunter Marbles in 17ish minutes. Fun but hard!

OG
Hbbs 190x3x2 felt really good.
Front squat 155x3x2 felt tougher
Cleans: worked up to 2 new PRs: 133 then 135. Missed 137 twice.
10 rounds:
30 second row sprint
1:00 rest/ do 5 push-ups during rest
This was a good one! Meters very consistent at 134 or 135. Last round 137.
Once i settled in it was around 1:48 splits which is great for me.
