Abs of choice
Take the rows at a moderate pace and aim to move directly from one station to the next without any big breaks. For the lunges, use 1 dumbbell or kettlebell held either in the front rack or at the hang and reverse lunge with the same side leg (so that the front leg is contra-laterally loaded). Do all reps on one side and then switch. Work up to a heavy set of 8 on the dumbbell bench.

NFT: 4 rounds. Modified the reverse lunge by holding a DB in a overhead position. Rows were leisurely pace at 1:45ish, GHDs and whatever DBs were laying around for bench. Just moved around around.

Box-piked HSPU: 6×3, 1 abmat. Gotta work on getting more vertical.
Metcon: 9:56, subbing 6 kipping pull-ups in lieu of the bar MUs. Push presses all unbroken. Had to give myself a pep talk on the ground during the burpees but got in under the 10-minute mark. Jess, who was standing by with the Wednesday workout crew, gave some helpful advice afterwards for kip practice. Gonna go back to working it before class on a more regular basis.

WOD: 8:05 RX. Push presses were hard! Did 12 unbroken, then 7-5 every other round. Burpees were burpees and I did 3 jumping bar muscle ups. I think 6 c2b would have taken me a lot longer!!
AG was so fun! Worked up to a 20# pull up. Did 2x 12.5# for the EMOM. Good times!
Wod in 12:02. 5 rounds: 5 TTB (I'm good at these when reps are low!), 10 burpee BJs, 14 pistols to a 10# plate. Really happy with my pistols–they've come so far!

PP: ALMOST unbroken, but couldn't lock out the last rep of the last set! Had to drop the bar and redo it. Ugh! Really wanted to do this in 8 minutes.
Burps: fairly fast
C2B were a hot mess. My kip is just bad when doing C2B. No repped myself about 4-5 times. Katie gave good advice on what to work on.
AG: no energy for this today. It's hard coming back after vaca.
Strict pullups: worked up to 7.5#. Need to do more strict pullup work.
EMOM: only did one strict pullup per round after the second round ๐ and practiced handstands on the alternating minute.
WOD: dead at this point. Moved so slow that I didn't start breaking a sweat until the 4th round. 17:18
T2B: subbed 15 situps bc my hands were on fire. No rips though.
burpee box jumps- couldn't move fast on these today.
Pistols- did them on a 20" box but probably should have done them on a 16" box bc I kinda pushed off the ground. These took forever trying to coordinate switching legs while on the box.
