Coach Noah is Opening His Own CrossFit Affiliate in Austin, TX
CFSBK is proud (and a little sad) to announce that Coach Noah will be moving to Austin, Texas in August to open his own CrossFit affiliate (name is still pending HQ approval.)
Noah has been with us since 2010, first as a member, then a part-time coach, and eventually as a full-time coach and vital piece of our fitness community. We’re excited for Noah and the community he will be building in Austin—exporting the “CFSBK way” to a vibrant and growing city. Tell any friends and family in Austin to be on the lookout for his gym!
Noah will continue to coach all his normal classes until he leaves, so make sure to share some laughs and send some good luck vibes his way before he leaves. We’re gonna miss you Noah!
Details about a farewell party will be forthcoming on the blog. There may or may not be a dunk tank involved.

Wow Noah! Didn't see that one coming! You'll be missed. Really happy for you though- this sounds like it's going to be an exciting new chapter for you. And yay for Gina!!
6:30 huge, hot and sweaty class with Whit at 608- not sure how she managed to find space for everyone, but the huge class was run very smoothly.
Bench Press
45 x 10, 75 x 5, 95 x 3, 105 x 12 x 3
Bent Over Row
45 x 5, 75 x 12, 85 x 12 x 3
WOD in 10:09 with 40# DB for 2 x rounds and 30# for the rest. Regular kipping pull-ups.
This was hard. I thought I could do barbell thrusters but as I was warming up my wrist felt off and my balance was funny because no shoes. The 40# DB's would have crushed my soul if I had continued. I seriously considered not finishing this one. I dunno- I blame the heat/ toe/ wrist/my mood? BUT i did manage a few C2B pull-ups, so that was cool.
Sad to skip AG but, alas, I can't do any of those things right now.

Noah! Happy for you and all I guess but this is terrible news for Brooklyn. Your great nerdy wit, humor, and excellent coaching be will be profoundly missed. :'-(

Noah, I was so sad to read this post at midnight when I should have been sleeping! I know you and Ro were instrumental in developing AG and I can't thank you enough for bringing that class to SBK. AG has seriously been the reason for so many of my gainz this year! I happily sacrifice Sunday day-drinking to do more CF bc of AG! It's been an honor to train under your watchful eye and those Austin folk are lucky to have you! Best of luck to you!

Noah- congrats….. your departure and the sadness that ensued got us to two pages of comments. Last time that happened was shirt-gate 2016.
