Last summer, we brought in a new fish CSA partner and were blown away by the quality and freshness of their fish! Lucky for you, registration is now open for the 2016 season, which runs weekly from June 11 til late fall.
Big City Fish Share, now in its fifth season, delivers sustainably caught, never-frozen, super-fresh seafood from Montauk to New York City. You can sign up for a weekly share of either 1 pound or 2 pounds of filleted fish, littleneck clams, or oysters. Sign up by June 7th, and lock in $16 per pound for the whole season. After June 7th, the price will go back to $17 per pound.
The delivery window will be Saturday mornings, 10am to 12pm, starting June 11. This is a weekly, not monthly, share.
Customers can sign up for 4 deliveries at a time, and can easily place their orders on hold through the website if they go out of town. Any funds left in your account at the end of the season will be returned to you by check. Expect a good variety of fish, including big-eye tuna, squid, founder, fluke, swordfish, black sea bass, bluefish, porgy, and monkfish.

Didn't have much time cause I was setting up rings so only got up to 105 here. Snatch was feeling great today after implementing Fox's notes from last session. Shins feeling good.
Metcon
Basically flailed around on the rings for 12 minutes of practice. Muscle ups were just not happening for me today. Kept failing on the transition — need to be more aggressive turning over. Made 3 total. Did a brisk lap after class to just get some cardio in. Snatches felt good even if there weren't many.

2nd time snatching post op. The good news, the wrist I had surgery on felt great. Not so good news, the wrist I did not have surgery on felt very carpal tunnel-ey. Not looking forward to going through surgery again just yet, so going to grin and bear it.

Got to 83 on the snatch. Felt heavy.
Fitness WOD with Rx weight and regular kipping pull-ups. Got through the round of ten and seven snatches. Some were a little high. Pull-ups were really hard today (go figure lol).
Kinda hungover today so I'm happy with how it went. I don't think I've ever done that many snatches at that weight.
2 x 15 GHD sit-ups/ 10 x abwheel.

Three days of fitness to recount, starting with today:
Snatch: Worked up to 93#.
WOD: Finished the round of 10 + 12 snatches with kipping pull-ups. Cycling snatches felt easier as it went along.
GHD: 3 x 12, Pullups: 3-3-3
Saturday:
FSQ: 135x12x3
Partner WOD with Michael C: Mash up of rowing/deadlift hold (205#), piked handstand pushups/handstand hold, t2B/hang, and overhead walking lunges (50' at 93#). This was fun.
Friday AM OG:
C&J: 83, 103, 123, 133, 143, 153F(made the clean). Focus was on footwork (trying to land evenly at the bottom instead of left foot ahead).
WOD: 3 mile run with a dash of different movements every 400 meters. 39:52. Long, but much needed long cardio.

Wod: 25# Dumbbells-17-18 each round, row: had an epiphany of what it feels like to really push on the row. Finally got 15 cals in 1 min. PR!
Was feeling good so I did 3×15 ghds, and a 10 min emom of 5 pull-ups/10 push-ups
Today: felt terrible! Only got up to 63 on the snatch, then was failing in the round of 4 at 63#. 🙁 thanks to Katie for helping me go down to 53#. Boo.
Had a little burst of energy at AG. 3 pull-ups/6pushups/9airsquat emom was great. Finished :28-:30 every round.
Fun workout 400m run, box jump overs/toes to bar, 400m run. Took me about 12:20

Opted out of snatches in favor of Hang Power Cleans with a front squat so as to stress my knee less.
worked up to 105# over 12 reps.
Back down to 75# for the metcon
did one pullup after 10 hpc's.
made it through 4 of the 8 round with kipping pullups, which I was psyched about- switched out to jumping from there.

Lots and lots of rescheduling this week… but! Luckily I made it in to OG today to get in a quick lifting session:
Front squat {225, 235, 245} x 5. Any heavier and I should start belting.
Then a weird untimed ascending/descending couplet of ring rows and ring dips, which felt pretty good. Total of 25 dips and "a lot" of ring rows.
GHD 3×5. Was going to do more but something hip-flexory felt aggravated. I can only feel it on the GHD, and not in any other stretch. Weird…
Fun session. Feeling very quad-y right now.

Did a little bit of group fitness today myself, wasn't feeling incredible this morning either….mostly because @Charlie and I probablyyyy had a little too much old bay popcorn last night
Wanted to try snatching in my gazelles to see if it felt significantly different. It did, but only when it was heavier. I just feel stiffer overall on my L side these days.
Worked up to 123#…which looked kiiinda stanky.
Almost pulled a @MattyChm (who was coincidentally lifting right behind me) and tried to walk it out a little too close to the sound system. I was just trying to change the song on Spotify…. I swear
Perf WOD: 6 + 8 snatches + 4 MU RX
Felt realllll sorry for myself during this one. Snatches were sloppy, had a more than few fails. So I just tried to keep moving until the clock ran down. When @MattyChm asked me what rep I was on around minute 10:00, I remembered how to be competitive and tried to step it up because we were fighting rep for rep! Thanks again for being my inspiration of the day. TWICE!
I needed a little group class love, felt good to be in class with everyone today. Fun little Sunday at the gym.
@mikecrumsho you just let me know when you want to film this running man challenge. I'm willing to waste more than a few hours to shoot a series of these.
