Did anyone find my pull-ups? I think I left them at the gym a couple of days ago.
9am with Fox^2.
WOD @ 65# and strict, banded pull-ups. Pulled out all colors of the rainbow for this one (RGB) and still a mess.
Finished in slowteen:something.
Parents take note – Nunu Chocolates just opened on Fifth Avenue. They have an absinthe flavor that is great for kids. Nighty- night Niko!

3PM Fighting Tacos Soccer Match w/ Noah & Mel:
Last week was the final game of the regular season. We lost 5-3 to Yellow Team. This week was the semi-finals, and we had a shot at redemption against the same team.
Moe scored a beauty early. Forgot who fed him the ball. Then Mel scored on a throw-in… Moe scored again on a re-directed shot. We are playing hot, and up 3-0.
Yellow team has a girl who manages to pick a spot and hit the corners every time. She smoked us last week. Again, she gets one touch and shot at the top of the box and places it upper corner.
3-1.
Maybe 2 minutes later, Moe plays a ball to Dan, who beats out their defender and slots it past their keeper. Perfect way to end the half, up 4-1.
Fighting Tacos decide to prevent any chance they have of scoring another goal. Second half was shut down defense by Linda, Nicole, Noah, Karl, and anyone else who was in our half. Luke swallowed everything in net, and we parked the bus on them.
Moe got another goal. Luke basically scored from his own net. 6-1. Game.
Normally I wouldn't post our game results, but this one felt particularly satisfying. Redemption against the team that beat us last week, and a true total victory. Offensively and defensively superb, and I wanted to thank everyone on the team for putting forth their best efforts today. This is the exact way to go into the final match!
Next week finals. Go Tacos!

Fun WOD – finished in 12:53. Tried out a butterfly kip, which even with my flailing around and coming off the bar probably actually saved me some time. Ro suggested that I just stick with it and practice under duress in WODs, which I will try.

Wod @ 14:42. Took Advil about 90 minutes before class and now it's nearly 8 pm and I can still taste them in my burps. So gross.
Go tacos!

Weekend:
Heavy c&j: 133, 143, 143, 148, 148, 153(F)
Shoulders kept getting soft under the bar for some reason.
Snatch: 63, 73, 83, 93, 103, 108(F), 113 (PR), 118(F)
Even though I failed a few reps, I'm feeling a lot more consistent than I have in the past. So that's exciting! Hopefully I'll be able to "own" that PR over this next 6 week cycle
