3 rounds + 6 doubles. About what I thought it would be. I found a good rhythm later in the wod by pausing the bar at the waist on the way down and getting setup for a touch and go snatch.

4 rounds even. Thanks to Ryan for egging me on to finish the snatches required to make the 4th round. This was a serious gasser; big respect to all the competitors that did this WOD.
Sameer Parekh says
3 rounds, 4 doubles
thanks to shawn and josh for pushing me
my target was 3 but after doing the first round in 2 i thought maybe 4 was possible. haha. no dice.

Happy Easter everyone, if you’re into that kind of thing. 3 rounds + 11 snatches, after the first round of DUs all the rest came in 1s and 2s, which was incredibly frustrating. Speaking of which, apologies to everyone in the gym for my screaming and cursing, I will try to get that under control, especially when people’s kids are around.
Is anyone out there interested in a (free) used slow cooker? The fiancee and I got a new one as a wedding gift, so we don’t need the old one anymore. Let me know and I’ll bring it into the gym.

4 rnds + 30 DUs and 2 snatches. Significantly better than game day.
Shawns says
3 rds +5 at 20dus.
Doubles really slow me down–I was happy to be able to get some in today but waste a lot of energy jumping and tucking.
Snatches aren’t bad once you get into a rhythym. I think it’s more mental than fatigue in most cases. Especially for cycling 2-3 together.

This starting strength exam is driving me to drink whiskey. 5 or 6 hours of work so far and I’ll be working all the way to 11pm. Damn you Rip, damn you!

Just sent mine, Rob. The weight of the world (over the middle of my foot…..)

3 Rounds + 14 DU attempts at #55. I felt like I was moving so slow in this WOD, surprised to see other people around the same reps as me. This may mean I counted wrong. I definitely accidentally snatched a few reps from the hang and I was grumpy as hell. Blood sugar crash?
Deepak says
4 rounds + 9 snatches @ 75 lbs. First time I tried to do this WOD, I completed only 3 rounds – so significant improvement. I think the reason for that is I’ve been working thru’ the snatches faster (not staring at the bar as much)…

Hey, everyone. Tow curious articles that you all will appreciate:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/17/magazine/mag-17exercise-t.html?_r=2&ref=magazine (I dig this one that Barbara K referred me to. I actually gave up biking everywhere to go back to my old habit of commuting via foot… as I found it better for my posture and meditative and no longer have to worry about daffy, homicidal cabbies, obtuse pedestrians and villanous bike thieves.)
