FGB is an annual charity that CrossFit gyms across the world participate in to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Wounded Warriors Fund. Just like last year, we'll form teams, make rad t-shirts and have a big party to celebrate the event. There will also be awards for top performers and the coveted Skull and Crossbones hoodie will be awarded to the highest fund raiser. If you can't make the event, we'll also be doing "Fight Gone Belated" for folks with scheduling conflicts. This means there are no excuses not to sign up!

Very Proud of team SBK’s performance today at the Strongman/woman event. It was also a lot of fun (and sweaty) to judge the sled drag races. Here is the information I was able to get before I left:

HURRAY for CFSBK!! Strong Men and Women we have. :).

Discovered that if I drive my right elbow up aggressively, the twist in my hips vanishes. So far I have changed my squatting by: (1) wearing a weight belt to remind me to expand my belly with a deep breath before bearing down for the lift, (2) keeping the ball of my foot closest to my big toe, and the outer edge of my heel both firmly planted on the floor, (3) driving my right elbow higher (noticed it was a hair lower than the left in some video that Malcolm shot of me squatting.) Hip feels a bit tender, but ok.
Accessory DL: 200×5.
Walking home we purchased some ice cold boyland seltzer. On 7th avenue we were solicited by a homeless man and I offered him the last half of my drink. He took it, spun it around to look at the ingredients and said “What? no sugar. No man.” AND GAVE IT BACK to me with a hug.

Patricio did 2 rounds 10# DB press x 5 each side and 5 pull ups (he made it up). He wanted to do more rounds but the DBs were too heavy.

I got up to 205# with backsquats–felt better–but Im still tweaking my low bar rack position. Seems I have it too low.
Did Squat/row WOD at a little over 75%120lbs (weighed myslef after WOD–was surprisingly nly 152).
