Just back from a long weekend in Providence visiting Nick’s parents. Linus had a blast at the beach. Did a few little metcons and some long walking. Looking forward to being back in the gym later this week!

Very small classes today!
Warm-Up:Ample Foam Rolling and LAX ball work, especially on my right leg. Thanks to Fox for showing me some new ways to inflict pain onto myself.
High Bar Back Squat(45x5x2, 95x5x2)115x5x3
Starting really really light, I can’t have too much weight on my shoulders right now. i tried to get into a low bar rack position which proved impossible. High bar felt better.

I love when I’m off of work and can take the noon class…especially when Coach Fox is teaching! ๐
Warmup:-Shuttle runs and box jumps x many rounds (skipped the forward rolls thanks to yesterday’s tequila and wine consumption).-My highest box jump was the 24″ box + (2) 25# bumpers + 15# bumper. Or it was the 20″ box + (2) 45# bumps. Don’t know which was taller and didn’t measure.-Fun seeing Ryan going for a max height that’s nearly as tall as me!
Snatch:(33x lots, 53×5, 63×3)work: 73x3x4-This was my first exposure to the snatch this cycle. Still such a rookie with these. A few of them felt pretty good, but most of them need alot of work. I tried for 5 sets but couldn’t get anymore after 1 rep.
Cooldown:-lots of handstand practice
