Adrian
Adrian Y

CFSBK would like to send our best wishes to Adrian Y as he attempts to climb the highest point in the western hemisphere, Denali. Some of the challenges he'll endure are sub zero temperatures, high altitude adjustments, carrying 45lbs on his back and dragging a 65lb sled behind him.  He'll also have to navigate an unforgiving terrain and perform lots of technical camping.  Adrian has been training at SBK for over 6 months in preparation for the 3 week climb.  Good luck, A-man!

3×3 chins with Nick’s help (yellow band too easy, on my own too hard)

DU/bench WOD with 10 double unders instead of 50 and the bench at 95#. 14:30. very excited about all those double unders–the last round was by far the quickest. practice does help!

ummm, if i don’t have even 2 double unders, what’s the thought for this WOD? 1,000 singles?

    Jason,

No worries! We generally sub Box Jumps (generally not a 1:1 sub) for those that don’t have double unders and ask you to devote additional time to practice. We find that to be a more appropriate sub than increased volume on the singles.

Fear not my friend, we’ve got you covered.

Any possible sub for benching? My shoulder is dodgy and those 105 pushups yesterday didn’t help 🙂

Good luck Adrian! Looking forward to hearing your stories of the climb upon your return. Saw you briefly last night at BKB but didn’t get a chance to say hi. 🙂

I am so bummed I missed this today.

I saw it posted and was ready to go at it again after looking at my last time.

But alas, it wasnt in the cards…crazy day at school: suspensions, detentions, complaining teachers, missing kids….bah! Anyone hiring?

Chin upsbody weight x 555×3, 55×2, 55x1These were with almost zero recovery as Mr. Fox was hurrying us along to get to the other portion of our program.

10:54 on the bench/DU WOD at 95lbs. Man were my shoulders burning on those DU’s. Would have been slower if not for Dan’s encouragement.
