Congratulations to all the PRs on yesterday's belated CrossFit Total. Thanks again to Coaches Jeremy and Margie for staying late to run it.
Tomorrow at 1pm is the first meeting for our Primal Quest Nutrition Challenge. We'll be meeting in the Lyceum cafe to discuss the rules of engagement.
Sunday at 1pm is our big move to Degraw Street! We'll need as many hands on deck as we can get. Please email David(AT)CrossFitSouthBrooklyn.com if you can help out and if you've got a vehicle we can use. Also, any thoughts on where we should go to eat afterwards?
and don't forget…

i have been wanting to visit Keith and Crossfit Virtuosity over in Williamsburg and last night i took the plunge for “ladies night” (class not just for ladies, but focusing on one of the benchmark “ladies”)
first ever Diane (21-15-9 DL/HSPU)
12:15135# DLsvery assisted HSPUs using green bands
it was a great workout and they have a pretty nice space over there. needed a lot of assistance using the bands for HSPUs, had a hard time kicking up. must practice more!
stuck around to do some o-lifting. worked on the snatch and let me tell you – 47# never felt so heavy! keith noticed and pointed out my wonky left knee (not new news) but its something that i really need to work on.
did some front squats at the end2-2-2-295, 105, 115, 120tried to really focus on my knees
overall a great night and nick doesn’t have to tell me twice that today should be a total rest day.
looking forward to cfsbk @ the lyceum this weekend!

Thanks Tam! I am already fretting about what to cook. Looking forward to exchanging meal ideas with all of you. Anyone know of any good paleo soup recipes? Thought making a pot of soup on Sunday would be a good kickoff…

Hey gang,
I will provide a bunch of resources for primal cooking ideas tomorrow, don’t worry!
Also, for those of you who can’t make it to the meeting, I’ll post the handout on the blog and you can email me with questions.

Margie -If the paleo challenge rules are posted on Saturday, are we supposed start following them on Sunday? Or will it start on Monday?I want understand the rules and have a big blowout meal before I go all neanderthal for 6 weeks.
Nino says
Also, Jeremy -Thanks for your guidance with the Total.
Margie says
Given our move on Sunday and the ensuing post-move activities, I am assuming beer consumption will be desired by many.
So, Primal Quest will officially begin on Monday.
