Reminder that our weekend classes this week and next are at 8am, 9am and 10am on both Saturday and Sunday.

The South Brooklyn staff would like to thank all our members for their patience and support while we slowly transition out of our current location.  Thank you for bearing with us through all the scheduling, spacial and logistic challenges we've endured.  Greener… drier, warmer pastures await us all.

  1. Woke up this morning, put my feet over the side of the bed and felt my quads… I’m not even sore yet, it still feels like I just finished the WOD. My legs are unbelievably tired. I wonder if I will stiffen into the shape of my work chair over the course of the day and then tomorrow you’ll see me walking like a cowboy.

    How’s everyone else?

  4. I really wish I’d made it back to practice C&J. I woke up my usual 5-10 during the night, and each time that’s what I was thinking of.

    This morning…

    Me: I thought about Clean & Jerks all night long!

    My Husband: That’s funny…me too.

    That about sums it up. He’s into pleasure, I’m into pain.

Well the mazel, mazel to all those lighting the Menorah.Good Luck to those competeing tomorrow, I will be there screaming my head off for ya.Dave no need to thank me for being patiencent I’m in it for the long haul with ya brother. Besides where else can a person mix crazy electronic music, stage performances, weightlifting, gymnastics, and coffee?

  8. Last night I had a dream that todays picture was all of us taking off running for Murph. The group must have been 20+ strong. I was in the front and even though the picture captured us just starting, I remember looking at the picture and realizing there was no way I could maintain that pace, as though the event the picture captured hadn’t occurred yet. I also remember to the left and back a bit, Brandy was mid-fall, but I also knew it wasn’t a bad fall, implying the event had indeed happened. In fact it was extremely graceful fall and capturing her at that moment really added to the quality of the photo. I remember thinking it was a beautiful picture and I’d planned on stealing it for my facebook image.

  10. I think Erik is planning on starting a mystical cult with Brandy. He posts this now and next summer when we do Murph and Brandy “trips” we all start coming to him for advice and prognostications.

  15. What times, if any, of the classes tomorrow are Level 1? It will be my first class out of Foundations so I’d like to start w/ that.

  16. Dan, they’ve been pretty mixed lately so I haven’t designated l1v l2 on the weekends., I would imagine the 8am class would be smallest, if that interests you. See you tomorrow!
