the double A ASSes and team yoohoo are going down! i may not even know what my team is yet, but i’m all for some friendly trash talk! it is friday after all!

Oh the Sumo Deadlift High Pulls definitely are the toughest. Last time doing those slowed me down considerably. This time Im going all out. Hopefully someone on my team can help me.

Wallball and rowing are limiting factors for me.
Rarely can I get more than 20 wallball in per round, and rowing, well, numbers in the single digits are commonplace for me…
I’ll be happy with 30 reps of wallball per round, and 11 – 15 calories for rowing.
Managing hand preparation is also an issue, it’s tough to do the movements when you can’t hold on!
ShawnS: regardless of team affiliation, would be happy to help with SDHPs if you need it.

re FGB. personally box jumps because of my poxy leg, WALLBALL is a bugger. mainly if you don’t find your rhythm and correct distance from the wall, it’s going to suck even more than normal. http://www.againfaster.com has a great piece on wallball technique.

Rowing is the hardest for me by far. I think my overall score will be better if I sandbag the row (11-13) and try for bigger numbers on the wall ball and and especially SDHP. Also, I think I can squeeze out a few more reps on the push press if I focus on using more leg drive.

SDHP’s. I tried them for the first time yesterday after the WOD and they felt not great. Dan, I’m in for some work on them if you’re offering. I’m at a loss on strategy here… I was thinking of trying to pace and go hard but even throughout.
