Great to be back at CFSB, my local torture chamber. I had a swell time in Miami Beach, ate too much, but I did get in a number of workouts, so I feel good about that (and the strange looks from people in the gym). Moded the WOD today(shoulder still sucks)3 rounds for time 120 single jumps, 12 24″ box jumps, 21 situps. Time-13:04. I feel I should have gone higher on the box jumps at least 6 more inches-next time.

Double unders were completely not there. So strange – I PR’d Annie and then couldn’t get more than one today. sigh.
I really liked this WOD. Would love to do it again with DUs.
Hats off to everyone for pushing yourself out of your comfort zones with box jumps!

24:35pullups with white band, otherwise as rx’d.
DUs for the first time (thank you, Jon Gilson), took forever, box jumps were fun, but mildly terrifying and pullups SUCKED, though at least I’m down to the white band.
Great WOD. Felt like shit the whole time.

Double-unders continue to suck. The high box jumps were interesting. They felt alot like heavy cleans,in terms of cycling them. Explode, reset, explode…

13:09 with C2B pullups. Was expecting to sub 10 this and it turned out to be much harder.
DU’s: Couldn’t string together my DU’s in the first round. After the pullups my grip was fried and the DU’s just turned to crap.
Box jumps were the easy part! Can’t cycle the 36″ jumps as quickly so there’s not a chance to fatigue as fast.
C2B pullups: Just couldn’t string these together unbroken. Elbow is unhappy with me, had to break these up into 7-7-7, 7-7-7, and 7-4-3-3-2-1-1.
Fun times, would like to do this WOD again soon.

36″ box jumps were initially a mind fuck, but cool to get through.as always pull ups are tough. practice, practice.

11:21 as rx’d, was hoping to get unbroken pullups but that didn’t happen at all, I did like 11/6/4 every round.
felt really beat afterwards, had a huge lunch which actually helped :).
also this was my last cfsbk wod before vacation, see y’all in a couple weeks!

I liked this workout. A very happy medium. A workout that pushes you around, but doesn’t kill you.
This is only the second WOD with pull ups in it that I’ve done since moving from the green to the blue band, and this one involved a lot of pull ups! They were by far the hardest. My forearms were like big, numbed rocks!

Warmed up to 135# with the intention to do “DT” but then was booted due to a performance downstairs. Therefore:
100 GI Janes outside on the scaffolding: 11:48 as Rx’d
Accessory Work:Jog up President to 5th ave. then:With a Big Rock I found, 5 walking lunges each leg, then 5 burpees. Did that pattern down to Union Street and then back to President. Carried the rock on my shoulder for lunges, tossed it to the side for burpees.
Threw up a little on the side of the street. Not feeling so hot now.

Double-unders – starting to like these…a little.Box jumps – 20″box w/45# platePull-ups – tan band…need to ditch the band.Great job to everyone who did the 36″ box jumps. It looked like a mountain to me.

Don’t have the DU yet so 120 singlesBox jumps were great at 36″ once you get past the initial feeling of “shit that’s high”.Pull Up’s sucked a lot but slowly getting better; first 10 no band then blue band, second and third round green band. Big thanks to Sameer for the help and motivation.
Jacinto – a pleasure to finally meet you, can’t wait for your storm.
David – I hope you feel better.

TOTALLY pushed my comfort zone with the high bj, and thanks Margie for making it seem like no big deal, I was whining inside while trying to act cool bout it. I appreciate you yelling at me too, I need that, and coming from a strong girl it pushes me harder.
