WOD at 1.5 poods & 30 lb front squat db’s: 10:12. Been ages since I’ve swung–started great and deteriorated rapidly. That was a way harder WOD than I thought it’d be. Lower back super tight afterwards, so I skipped out on the DL’s. May try to tackle it tomorrow am at the globo gym.

Later a few sumo-deadlifts sets:3@135, 3@225, 3@315, 3×3@225plus some narrow-stance-dl and zercher lifts as kinda acc. work.
Nicole, Julianna and Margie did incredibly great on deadlifts tonight. All three of them demonstrated a technique that was pretty much school book like. Really terrific.

This wod was murder on my grip. I feel a little sore in my lower. Awesome job Dan, Erik, Charmel you guys killed it tonight.
Did DL but the last set of DL looked sloppy although it was a pr for me.

Warm Up WOD:5 Rounds for time of:20 Kettlebell Swings @ 2 Pood10 FSQs @ 40 lb DBsTime: 16:25Lots of discomfort during the workout in the lower back. Hurt more when I was out of position, so that was good motivation to maintain proper form…
Followed by 42 Burpees NFT.
5×3 Deadlifts315x5, 335×3, 335×3, 335×3*, 335×3***bounced the weight off the first and second descent making it slightly easier to lift.**No bouncing repts, but ended up rounding my back on the last two reps. UGLY.
Weakness WOD: Overhead Squats3x10 @ 85lbsFelt strong once David corrected my technique. Danka!

definitely feel like i could have gone heavier, wanted 25#s but there weren’t any. also, the jump between the 1pood and 1.5 pood kb is a lot, guess i just need to suck it up.
sad i couldn’t stick around to deadlift (looks like you got them in!) off to pittsburgh tonight then cali tomorrow! see everyone next week!
oh, and 72 burpees which means i’m all caught up @ day 42. now onto 43…
