Regarding your comment on the last post, you’re most likely over extending your wrists, not flexing. Also, if you’re experiencing pain on the “thumb side” of your wrist, your grip may be too wide. Lets take a look at it more closely next time in class.
dan– i think David is right, your grip is too wide. I thought you were the ohs superstar (like with everything else =) so I just figured your grip was super wide because that is how you like it. I noticed you had your hands all the way out at the end of the bar. I like to keep my hands so that my index finger is right on the furthest out smooth gap in the knurling. We are generally the same size so perhaps a similar placement will work for you too.
