This was a tough wod to do post-hoover ball madness.

    14:01, 14lb wall ball

I just couldn’t jump onto the box today! It was the funniest thing-I kept saying to myself “okay jump, now, ok now, up dammit! and my legs were not responding” so i ended up stepping up.

I just wanted to thank David, Shane and Margie for yesterday’s playtime. I really enjoyed myself, and enjoyed watching everyone instantly transform into a kid again. I can’t wait for next month activity.

    See you crazy kids manana

Tough WOD today, the dumbell squats really tested my mettle. I felt like quitting, so thanks Dave McG for the quiet encouragement and the rest of the xfitters for getting me through(23.04). Hey, how bout those Steelers? Great superbowl.

17:50 — should not have rested as much during the wallballs. Juliana shamed me afterwards!

    DL practice was good.

Would have preferred to do any variant of Kelly, but instead applied CF skills to moving a friend from Brooklyn to Inwood. Almost felt like NFT as it went from 10AM to 7PM…

Jack — hell of a game 100yrd TD? Awesome.

Margie — everyone was on their best behavior I’m sure…

And mad props to David, Margie, and Shane for organizing yesterday’s fun!

What a perfect CF weekend! Yesterday’s Hoover-Dodge ball party was just splendid and so was today’s deadlift therapy. Thank you very much for your comments on my form, David. Made me think about my deadlift technique in general which is very much appreciated.

Did Kelly in 14:47.I feel a bit indecisive about “Kelly”. Surely not one of my dreamgirls but, I guess, I wouldn’t reject her if she shows up again in the far and very distant future.

Looking forward to the upcoming strength cycle.

    13:26 w/ 8# medball

used the light medball because there weren’t any heavier ones left(ok, ok, i wanted the 8# ball…) but was happy about it because my arms were shot. box jumps felt alright.

hooverball and dodgeball were fun (despite the bruise on my leg from dodgeball – sorry about the chest shot david!)

thanks for the “deadlift therapy” – there are quite a few things i need to work on to get my form corrected. thank you margie and david for the help!

AAAAND, last but not least, over the course of the weekend, i did 143 burpees (day 31 and 32 plus 80 make up burpees) and am all caught up with my burpee challenge.
