Wasn’t as motivated as I should have been. Also, I don’t think the deadlifts from yesterday did me any favors. I did manage to throw the bar into my shin, which is now bruising nicely, so that’s something.

Still injured, scaled this to 75lbs.
Exactly 9 rounds before time was called.
Cleans felt good, but I need to get under the bar faster and *stomp*
SDHP’s felt OK, I feel like the bar path is good until the hip pop, at which point I can feel it extending away from my body and the arms working harder to bring it back. Need to improve that bar path.
Thrusters sucked, shoulder is an unhappy camper as is the groin pull so the combination of squat/press was a little harder than expected. Stretching today felt good, slightly aggravated the tear, but I think it’ll be fine.
Was good to go light though, perhaps two more weeks and I hope to hit the WODs hard and as RX’d again.
Side note: Pullups felt really hard today, chest-to-bar is usually very doable in sets of 15, couldn’t manage 4 in a row.

Nice to be back and see u all ! I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday.I am recovery from a terrible cold so I was a little out of breath today. Also recovering from two weeks of being totally lazy and stuffing my face with bread/pasta. Had a great time though fun WOD.
I am really excited about having gillian at brooklyn coaching us. Thank you, you bring a totally different dynamic to the coaching team and I can’t wait to learn lots. I really happy to see so many kick-butt woman at brooklyn (margie, gillian).
