We've acquired 4 new York Barbells (Thanks, Rob!) bringing our barbell total to 13 bars!
30 more Jump ropes have been ordered as well as some new jump stretch bands and more chalk.

Squats were harder than I would have thought on the sand, I kept pitching forward on to my toes. My niece kept asking “Why Unca Jeomy running fast.” Apparently crossfit is no easier to explain to a 2 year old than anybody else.
Kinda pissed that I keep missing the 1RM bench press days.

Round 1 got all thrusters and pullups unbroken in 0:45Round 2 broke thrusters into 5-5-5, started to hit the wallRound 3 thruster were TOUGH, 2-3-2-2, last rep was questionable on the lockout, pullups I’m not sure how I broke them up
This was the first time that I felt the thrusters were harder than the pullups. Just a rough day I guess, this was 49 seconds slower then my last PR. Really great crew out at Jenks though, was a lot of fun!

100 didn’t want to go up, thought i’d give it one last try w/ a wider grip and it helped but i still couldn’t get it up. first time doing a 1rm.

Pulled an UGLY 355 off the floor for a 10# PR but decided to after since my back was just gross on the lift.
Needed more rest before pulling 330 again. 315 the 2nd time was fine.

yeah, was using a slightly wider stance. about shoulder width. i could have stood to go widerbut also need to develop the back strength
hey paul, yeah i’m in durham. they finally have a CF here and it’s a great place to train! they just got started in august and have a great thing going and are looking to grow in the new year.
i’ve never been to the raleigh box but would love to. they’ve been around for quite some time. i’ll hit you on facebook and maybe we can get together this weekend in raleigh!

Hello from Pittsburgh. Visited Crossfit Three Rivers. We did 12 days of crossfit. I did the girls’ weights.
1 DL 175lb2 C/J 75 lb3 HSPU (assisted against the wall)4 SDHP 55lb5 ring dips6 air squat7 box jump 20″8 KB swings 16kgs9 pullups10 thrusters 55lb11 burpees12 muscle-ups (assisted off the ground)
(that’s 1, 2-1, 3-2-1, etc.)
something like 43 or 46 minutes. (Staggered starts. I started 3 minutes in, but don’t know if the time he gave me was after or before subtracting the 3 minutes.)
my brother in law joined us, he did2 pushups4 squats6 box jumps8 kb swings 12kg10 pullups12 burpees
(2, 4-2, 6-4-2, etc)
10 minutes or so, after only starting crossfit two weeks ago.
