Handstand Progressions
A solid DB rack position keeps the handles just about parallel to the floor with one head of the dumbbell secure on the shoulder. Keep your elbows slightly up and out to maintain postural integrity throughout the movement.

“Peg Leg Mary”Did all the pistols on my right leg as i’m still recovering from the ankle sprain(s).8 Rounds + 3 HSPUs
single leg pistols slowed me down a bit. Kept everything unbroken to my 4th round. I think i can do 9-10 Rounds the next time i do this wod.
Thanks to everyone for being so understanding about only having half the space today. I plan on doing some massive cleaning tomorrow morning.

Cindy12 rnds plus 5 pullups, 3 pushupsfirst time as rx’d!Mostly singled the pullups in the first few round, but as the WOD went on, I was able to cycle them much better.
My best Cindy with the thin band was 13 rounds, so I feel pretty good about this one.
Awesome work today – lots of PRs and good energy. I really enjoyed being with you all.

Mary was fun. I liked the pistols on the box. previous attempts at pistoling with a ring support were not as good because I ended up relying on the ring too much.
ended up doing more than I was expecting. i figured if I were to do cindy I’d shoot for 20 rounds, but since this was new and different my numbers would be a lot lower. I nailed 8 rounds plus 5 “hspu” and 7 pistols. HSPU were assisted on the mat. that brings my pullup total for the weekend up to 285. I think I am ok with not hitting 300. Did all the pullup sets unbroken.

Cindy:16 rounds + 5 pull-ups + 10 push-ups
I was hoping to at least tie my last score of 17, but I simply ran out of time.The pull-ups and almost all the squats were unbroken. The push-ups fell into a 5+3+2 pattern pretty quickly, still, there was very little rest and I have no idea how I got 17 last time. I’m sure the fatigue from yesterday was a factor.

MARYThis is my favorite all time WOD! CINDY my first CF workout ever, but I dumped her for MARY.
9 rounds, 5 HSPU’s, 10 (rusty) Pistols, 7 PU’s. I had to break pull ups down by the 3rd or 4th round. I was pulling 7’s, 5’s and 3’s.
It’s been a while since i did this WOD. Last time I did it, I hit 7 rounds. Pretty big improvement considering my consistency has been off as of late.
Great WOD. Good to see everyone before the new year.

Did only three rounds but at least I proudly ripped my hands while trying to turn my kipping pull ups into a kind of smooth motion. And the CFSBK website goes German. That’s just großartig.

“Mary”Decided to do miss Mary because I had never done her before.7 rounds + 5 HSPU + 1 PistolPull ups were with white band. Thanks to David for taping me up mid WOD when I tore my hard earned callous off.Did modified HSPU but they felt strong. want to go strict next time.Pistols proved that I have a left side imbalance. Thanks Gillian for the encouragement to get lower.
